Summer Utah Trip 2021 – Zermatt Resort and Spa – August 21st – August 28th

Hiking, Golf, Tours and more…

 

Join us as we head to Utah for a summer get-away to Zermatt Resort and Spa, located in the city of Midway in the Heber Valley. There are so many activities available during the summer, we will do our best to squeeze in as many as possible. The accommodations will be 2 bedroom condos (one king room and one queen/queen room) or queen/queen hotel rooms. There are three on-property restaurants, as well as great dining options in Midway and Heber Valley. Oh, and The Bakery at Zermatt, an authentic European bakery that is a treat for both the appetite and the eyes.

 

The trip includes:

· Round trip non-stop air transportation between Columbus and Salt Lake City via Southwest Airlines

· Round trip transfers between Salt Lake City and Zermatt Resort via private coach

· 7 nights accommodations at the Zermatt Resort and Spa

· Welcome Reception - “Get to Know Zermatt”

· Welcome Dinner evening of arrival

LAND ONLY PASSENGERS: In the event participants choose air that is not part of the air arrangement as offered in the package, then the following conditions concerning “LAND” passengers will apply.

 

LAND: It is imperative that any and all participants arranging their own air be fully aware of the following facts pertaining to the tour program: 1. Transfers between airports and hotels are always arranged for the main group and are coordinated with the main group’s flight itineraries. 2. The transfers also pick up and drop off only at airport terminals that are in the main group’s itineraries. Transfers do not stop at alternate terminals for pick-ups or drop offs. 3. It is the responsibility of such LAND passengers to coordinate their flights with the group and for them to be at the appointed place and time that the group is being picked up. 4. There can be no special arrangements made for LAND passengers for alternate pickups or drop offs by the transfer companies involved. 5. All of the above is equally applicable to any luggage for such LAND passengers. 6. CSC cannot offer credit for transfers that are not being used in our packages.

Please note:  You may pay by credit card, PayPal and by check .  You will not be a participant on this trip until your check clears the bank.  Service fee for credit cards and checks are now the same due to time taken to deposit checks.

You must be a CSC member or a member of a recognized ski club in order to sign up for the trip.  If you are a member of another ski club, please contact the trip leaders for help in signing up.

COLUMBUS SKI CLUB
2021 TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY
Zermatt, Utah

Important: Please read trip cancellation policy listed below before signing up for a trip.

1. June 10, 2021: Unreserved pillows will be cancelled, so chances to be on the trip after that date will be very slim. Reserve your spot early.

2. Cancellation policies:
A. If you want to cancel your participation on the trip, as usual, any UNRECOVERABLE expense will be at your charge, plus a $50 club administration fee. The Trip Chair will try to find a replacement for you; but if no replacement is found, you are responsible for ALL unrecoverable costs.

B. If the club needs to cancel the trip:
a. Due to lack of participation (under 20 people). Decision will be made on June 10, 2021 and deposits will be refunded in full.

C. In case of a Force Majeure (acts of God, war, government regulation, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder or any other emergency beyond the parties’ control), the CSC will make every attempt to reimburse any moneys previously deposited. The CSC will not reimburse nonrecoverable expenses.

General Cancellation Policy
To cancel from a club trip, the cancellation cost equals the sum of the administration fee ($50), plus the liquidation fee.
Liquidation Fees:
a. The Liquidation Fee includes nonrefundable charges incurred by the Club.
b. Nonrefundable charges include, but are not limited to, the following items: Transportation, accommodations, lift tickets, and any pre-paid activities
c. The Liquidation Fee may vary for each trip and participant.
Waiting List
a. No Waiting List signups will be taken until the trip is full.
b. Persons on the Waiting List will be called in the order they signed up. There will be no skipping of names except that two (but not more than two) persons who have signed up together can elect to be skipped over and wait for two openings to occur at the same time. If skipped over, the spot will then be offered to the next person on the Waiting List.
c. If a person on the Waiting List is placed on the trip, the balance of the trip cost to date must be paid within five days or before trip departure, whichever is sooner, or the person may be removed from the Waiting List.
d. If a person declines an offered position on the trip, the Administrative Fee will be assessed. That person has the option of being removed from the Waiting List or placed at the end of the Waiting List. No administrative fee is charged if they later go on the trip.
Release of Liability
Notice: Membership in the Columbus Ski Club is conditioned upon the applicant agreeing not to hold the Columbus Ski Club, Inc., its officers and agents liable for any theft, loss of property, any accident, injury, or death of or to members, their children or guests attending club activities, whether arising as a result of negligence or otherwise.
