“SINGLES” CAN PLAY "DOUBLES", TOO (AS WELL AS COUPLES)!

CSC Tennis is a non-competitive, social co-ed league consisting of approximately 20 – 24 players. The league plays on Friday evenings.  The sessions run throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring indoors.  We play for free at Hilliard Davidson High School in the summer. .. We accommodate experienced and beginner players:

Now, let’s not get scared off by the word ‘love!’  Once you’ve participated in both pro-led drills or doubles play, you won’t have to use that word much in the game!  Come and join us for a 8 week indoor spring tennis doubles session at the Elysium Tennis facility!  (7637 Commerce Pl, Plain City, OH 43064 – just outside of Dublin)

8 weeks - FRIDAY, MARCH 25, 2022 AND  RUNS THROUGH MAY 13, 2022
 
6:30 - 8:30 PM;  fEE:  $140/PERSON

SPRING Indoors Doubles sOCIAL TENNIS (No Drills)  
20-25-minute matches are played. Players are rotated at the end of every 20-25 minutes.  A minimum skill level of 2.5 is required. This level indicates the participant should:

  --be comfortable with and understand some doubles strategy, and
  --keep the ball in play for both drill situations and social play.

We have a nice range of ability levels from 2.5 to 4.0. •

SKILL LEVEL OF BELOW 2.5
-- LESSONS WITH A PRO FOR 1 AND  1/2 HOURS
-- LEARN BASIC STROKES:  FOREHAND, BACKHAND, VOLLEYS, SERVES 
-- PRACTICE DOUBLES' STRATEGY

 -- PLAY PRACTICE GAMES

Both Doubles and Beginners have been part of a very social group and go out every Friday after tennis for dinner and/or drinks!

End of the Indoor Season Party
May 13th (following the last night of indoor tennis) starting at 8:30 PM in the upstairs viewing and party room.  All are welcome to attend the party where we will have fun social games, bottled water, and an informal catered meal.  This is a BYOB event for alcoholic beverages.  Ticket prices will be advertised later dependent on the cost of the catered meal.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel from a club trip, the cancellation cost equals the sum of the administration fee ($50), plus the liquidation fee.
Liquidation Fees:
a. The Liquidation Fee includes nonrefundable charges incurred by the Club.
b. Nonrefundable charges include, but are not limited to, the following items: Transportation, accommodations, lift tickets, and any pre-paid activities
c. The Liquidation Fee may vary for each trip and participant.
Waiting List
a. No Waiting List signups will be taken until the trip is full.
b. Persons on the Waiting List will be called in the order they signed up. There will be no skipping of names except that two (but not more than two) persons who have signed up together can elect to be skipped over and wait for two openings to occur at the same time. If skipped over, the spot will then be offered to the next person on the Waiting List.
c. If a person on the Waiting List is placed on the trip, the balance of the trip cost to date must be paid within five days or before trip departure, whichever is sooner, or the person may be removed from the Waiting List.
d. If a person declines an offered position on the trip, the Administrative placed Fee will be assessed. That person has the option of being removed from the Waiting List or at the end of the Waiting List. No administrative fee is charged if they later go on the trip.
Release of Liability
Notice: Membership in the Columbus Ski Club is conditioned upon the applicant agreeing not to hold the Columbus Ski Club, Inc., its officers and agents liable for any theft, loss of property, any accident, injury, or death of or to members, their children or guests attending club activities, whether arising as a result of negligence or otherwise.


Sports/Activities Cancelation Policy

CSC Cancellation Policy (If your activity is not a sport, some items regarding games will not apply to your activity or trip.
1. Cancellation Fee: $10.00
2. Cancellation Schedule
a. Cancellations within 24 hours of sign-up receive a full refund.
b. Cancellations after 24 hours are assessed the cancellation fee plus any costs incurred by the Club.
c. Particpants who do not show up for any two regular season games and have not notified their coach of a conflict will receive no refund and the coach is authorized to obtain a replacement player from the committee.
d. After a player has received a team shirt and three league games have been played, no refund will be given.
3. All refunds minus cancellation fees and costs incurred are issued no earlier than two weeks after the regular season ends.
